Jim Bowie Duel BBQ Contest - Vidaliala, Louisiana

The Mighty Swiners Team Leader, David E. Zaricor, is headed home today, having had a great time being a Finals Judge for "The Jim Bowie Duel BBQ Contest" in Vidaliala, LA.

Congratulations to the The Red Hot Smokers team which won the Grand Championship.  A well deserved award for having the most excellent shoulder. For those who are familiar, this is wonderful, smaller contest.  Any team which doesn't compete in this one are really missing out on an excellent opportunity to show off their talent and perhaps even place in their first competition. Not to mention that it's a gorgeous location for a BBQ cooking contest.  See photos of the contest by clicking here.
